Description: This assignment required the completion of a group lab report based on an experimental research study using the IMRAD (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion) format. The purpose of the assignment was to develop scientific writing, analytical, observational, and organizational skills while communicating experimental findings in a professional and objective manner. In this experiment, our group investigated whether color influences taste perception by presenting participants with differently colored samples of identical apple juice and analyzing their preferences. The report included background research, an explanation of the experimental procedure, data collection and analysis, graphs and tables, discussion of the results, limitations of the experiment, and real-world implications of the findings. The assignment emphasized the use of peer-reviewed research, scientific analysis, proper citation, organization, and clear communication of scientific ideas in a formal lab report format.
