My name is Anthony Chin, I’m a freshman at the City College of New York and I major in Biology!

This is for my portfolio for Writing for the Sciences ENGL 21003

Throughout this portfolio, I will showcase the major writing assignments and projects I completed during Writing for the Sciences ENGL 21003.

The assignments include a Technical Description, Memorandum, Letter of Introduction, Presentation, Lab Report, Reflections, and Drafts completed throughout this class.

I will then showcase my Self-Assessment Essay, which reflects on my development as a writer throughout Writing for the Sciences ENGL 21003. In this essay, I examine how my writing abilities, revision process, and understanding of academic and scientific communication evolved over the course of the semester.

This essay will also reflect on the challenges I faced as a writer, the goals I achieved, and the ways my perception of writing changed throughout the semester. Overall, it represents both my academic growth and my continued development as a student.
